ASM Configuration error

Experts,

This is Standalone ASM configuration on Oracle Linux 6.7

It seems i am facing error related oracleasm kernel module.


# uname -a

Linux prim.xxxxx.com 2.6.32-573.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jul 23 03:43:06 PDT 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

# rpm -qa | grep oracleasm

oracleasmlib-2.0.12-1.el6.x86_64

oracleasm-support-2.1.11-2.el6.x86_64

kmod-oracleasm-2.0.8-16.1.el6_10.x86_64


[root@prim ~]# oracleasm configure

ORACLEASM_ENABLED=true

ORACLEASM_UID=grid

ORACLEASM_GID=asmadmin

ORACLEASM_SCANBOOT=true

ORACLEASM_SCANORDER=""

ORACLEASM_SCANEXCLUDE=""

ORACLEASM_SCAN_DIRECTORIES=""

ORACLEASM_USE_LOGICAL_BLOCK_SIZE="false"

[root@prim ~]# oracleasm init

Loading module "oracleasm": failed

Unable to load module "oracleasm"

Mounting ASMlib driver filesystem: failed
