How do we indicate publicly that an award decision has been extended?

Strategic Sourcing displays events on the "bidding opportunities tile" until the event ends. Sometimes there is a delay in completing the analysis and awarding the event to a bidder or supplier. All of our events are required by state government to indicate a date the event will be awarded. If we extend that date, we are required by the state to post an extension notice to the public indicating the award date has been extended.

In strategic sourcing, we have no place we can post this publicly. The event is closed, so bidders can't see the event in the bidding opportunities tile. They also can't see the event in the NOIA tile because we have not completed the analysis phase and selected any bidder; consequently, it is too early to "send" the NOIA so the event can be displayed on the NOIA tile.
