Removal of planned shipment is not working as expected in case of multiple sales order in Shipment

We are trying to remove/cancel the shipment which was already planned. Source is OTM and target system is cloud. From the source system we are receiving shipment number along with Delete command. In OIC interface we have done some customization and we are passing sales order number along with shipment number and delete command in the request payload to cloud.
