For few users the global search does not produce results.

Some users try to search some components like "By Paysheet" or "Job Data" using global search in Peoplesoft. But the search does not return any results. Whereas few others get the results? Can anyone let us know what could be the issue?

We are in PS9.2 and Tools 8.57d
