Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Possible Reasons for the conversion from UTF-8 to ANSI not occuring

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to convert the text from UTF-8 to ANSI on several trials, but in vain. Though the text does not contain any special characters.

So, I want to know that:

Is it a normal behavior in Oracle or not, or
is it because there is no special character in the text, that's why there is no conversion.
