webadi 11i stopped working today for several Excel 2016 users

When creating a document, open Excel, get a window that says "Script Error":

Error: Member not found.

We opened an SR, but Oracle cannot help us 11i is only certified up to Office 2013. Hopefully we will be migrating to R12 this year, but any help on this in the interim on work-arounds would be greatly appreciated.
