Is there any impact on intercompany accounts option when statuses is in progress?

In my company's ledger there have not configured intercompany setup in ledger an d statuses is 'Not started'. I have verified the intercompany setups in the ledger and clicked on 'Done' button. Now the status has changed to 'In Progress'. But I have not selected or configured any setups.

Is there any impact on accounting or transactions when the status is in 'In Progress'?

Is there anyway to revert the status from 'In Progress' to 'Not Started'?
