Is additional Software needed on Smart Device or Dedicated Handheld Scanner to work with Mobile Inv

in Fixed Assets - EBS (MOSC) 2 comments

In addition to Smart phone / Dedicated Handheld scanning device being paired with a barcode scanner, is additional software needed on these devices? Are devices ready out of the box after being paired with barcode scanner app? Does Oracle recommend one that works better than others? This of course is on Mobile Fluid PI. Thanks.
