Oracle DBA team and Agile methodology

Hello,

Our Oracle DBA team performs the following tasks:

• Project support for our Customers

• Maintenance in operational conditions of more than 600 Oracle databases

• Classic administration tasks

• Upgrade of our databases

For 2 months we have been working with the AGILE method (SAFe):

• PI Planning

• Sprint planning

• Daily scrum meeting

• Sprint Review

• Retrospective sprint

We are not convinced that this method imposed in our job is adapted to the functioning of our team because too many meetings and a lot of time wasted in rituals.

Do you have any feedback on the application of this methodology in an Oracle DBA team and its impact on productivity?
