Hi,

Here is my scenario.

database DB1 on Server SRV1 is restored on SRV2 as DB1 using RMAN. After restore and recover of DB1 on SRV2 DB1 is opened with reset logs.

From SRV2, after setting ORACLE_SID=DB1 and connecting to RMAN catalog, I was trying to run statement "list backup of archivelog sequence between 68540 and 68550 summary;" to look at archives backed up. From SRV2 i get message "archives not in the list"

But if i run the same command from original server SRV1, I get result back.

Is there a reason for the behavior? I was expecting the same result on both as control file is same on SRV2 though day old.
