Rman 10038 error

I have upgrade my enterprise oracle database from Oracle version 12.1.0.2 to Oracle version 12.2.0.1 and I have successfully taken an rman backup to create a standby database but I keep encountering the error Rman 10038: Database session for channel D1 terminated unexpectedly.. Please assist to review and guide to fix.
