datapatch run
Question : can it harm to run Datapatch on a database, even if no patches were applied (or, none that I'm aware of) ?
We experienced issues with running of Datapatch, in which case it was necessary to re-run Datapatch to get a correct completion of this tool.
It may be a case where Opatch was run, and then a Datapatch, but one that wasn't completed with success in reality.
We also have cloned databases, and these may have the issue as just detailed above, but may lack log files, depending on the method of cloning.
In that context, could we just use Datapatch as a validation tool. Or, is there a risk for that ?
