GI 19c Installation - Windows - Creating MGMTDB fails with DBT-06605

Hi!

I encounter a strange problem when trying to install Grid Infrastructure 19c

The goal is to setup GI on two nodes. The share disk (35 GB) is connected to both nodes via iSCSI. A RAW partition is created.

We have created and tested the installation procedure on our Devmultiple times without any problems.

But when we try to install the software on the real environment, we encounter the following problem.

At 79% the GI installer tries to create the MGMT database. There it fails with the following error:

[FATAL] [DBT-06605] The data file location (+GI\_mgmtdb\SYSTEM01.DBF) already exists.

CAUSE: This configuration is going to create the data file location (+GI\_mgmtdb\SYSTEM01.DBF). But it is detected that there is an existing database using this data file location or the data files from a previous configuration may be left behind.
