BI Publisher ver 12C question concerning aligning text and variable on heading

Running BI Pub ver 12C enterprise

Attempting to get the following text and a call of the current date to appear on a heading line.

RUN DATE: <?call:CurrentDate?>

Cannot seem to get this to appear/align properly on the same line. Tried dividing the line into 2 "tables" and enclosing the text in its own table adjacent to the <?call:CurrentDate?> without success.

Either text and date appears on different lines, or the text is too far left of the date, or the text does not appear at all.

Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.
