Solaris 11.4 on Sparc T8-1 Server does not see all memory installed

in SPARC T-series servers (MOSC) 2 comments

Hi

I have an Oracle T8-1 Server with 16 * 32GB DIMMs installed. The ILOM shows no errors and sees 512GB of RAM, but solaris 11.4.29.82.3 prtdiag reports all DIMMs installed, but only shows 480GB.

I have created some LDOMs and realized that not all physical memory is available, so returned configuration to factory-default, but after power-cycle the system, Solaris continues showing 480GB instead 512GB. I´he followed Doc IDs 1019467.1 and 2227574.1, but no luck. Any idea what could be wrong?
