How to prevent updates to the WO if the scheduled complete is past 24hrs?

Hello,

This is to prevent the technicians do mass complete of the WO's. Is there way to prevent updates to the WO if the scheduled complete is past 24hrs? or not allow the technicians to select random actual start & completion dates? meaning, actual completion date to default to the current sysdate
