Has anyone encountering restrictions using role or permission list Aliases?

Hi everyone,

Our company is currently working on getting current with our PUM, which is our first time since we upgraded to HCM 9.2 originally. In reviewing the impacts to customizations, impacts to both delivered roles and permission lists that we have customized showed up. These were generally done due to hardcoding within the application for the role/permission list so we needed to assign to users but didn't want the users to have all of the access that was delivered.

I stumbled across the function of using Aliases in roles and permission lists, which allows users to create a custom role/permission list and add the delivered role/permission list as an alias so that the custom role passes any of the hardcoded logic.
