Pick release with partial reservations in OM

Hi Gurus,

Currently, I am facing a weird scenario in EBS 12.1.3 on Order Management while pick release.

Before pick release my sale order line ordered quantity = reserved quantity . After pick release from Shipping-->Release Sale Order by checking prior reservation check box .we could see a few of the reservation quantity is becoming partial quantity.

This scenario is happening in the PROD system and I am trying to replicate it in DEV but not succeed.

Kindly give me some input to catch the problem.
