oracle upgrade to 12.2 failed with shared pool space

upgrade to oracle 12.2 failed in one of our environement, initial assumption is that it is failed because of space issue, below is what shown in the upgradsummary sheet. Note: the server has good amount of memory available , seems the memory that is allocated to oracle parameters is causing this issue.


 ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 2 ORA-04031: unable to allocate 136 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","select obj#,type#,ctime,mtim...", "SQLA^5f83ba36","opn: qkexrInitOpn")

both SQL Server and XML database upgrades are showing as INVALID [ attached upgrdsummary file]

Oracle XML Database           INVALID   12.2.0.1.0 00:17:11
