Hi,

We are on R12.2.9. Have a question on raw material traceablity used in Finished Goods ( WIP ).

Ex:

FG Part# = 5500 ( BOM ) ( item is Lot control enabled)

5500-WIP

Packing-1

Packing-2


5500-WIP (BOM)

Raw Material-1 -- (Lot control enabled )

Raw Material-2

Raw Material-3

We would like to trace the Raw Material-1.

Finished Goods Part ( 5500 ) - Lot control Enabled.

Raw Material-( Lot control enabled) while it's received from Supplier Lot# is captured

Can we trace from FG -> Raw Material-1 ?

We are creating work orders for FG 5500 and WIP 5500-WIP.

Raw-Material-1 Push.

Rest are Assemply Pull.

Note: 5500-WIP is not lot control.

Or can we just use a flat BOM structure.
