configuring IPs for RAC environment

For RAC 19c environment configuration on Linux its needed to have PUBLIC, PRIVATE, VIRTUAL, and SCAN ips.

I know the SCAN and Private IPs should belong to the same subnet of the Public interface and should be added to the DNS.

1- for the PRIVATE Ips for each node, these too must be added to the DNS or no need to have them in DNS

2- should these IPs be also added to /etc/hosts file or its enough that they are in DNS
