Lease Accounting - Lease Early Termination

Hi everyone,

i have an issue with Lease Early Termination option.

to duplicate the issue:

Choose a lease that run for 5 months out of a 48 lease term
from Recurring Billing application, select the recurring billing line and exit row lease Term change
I check on "Early Termination" and specify the termination date, the last period ended was 05/30/21 and I specified the early termination to 06/01/21, i press ok all the way
I check the amortization schedule application and the Recalculate lease liability field is set to "1" instead of "2"

what am i doing wrong, i followed the instructions as mentioned in the implementation guide and it's working fine so far.
