Unplug without powering system down.

Can I unplug my SL150 Tap Deck from my Oracle X5 Server Rack without shutting down the system? The SL150 Top and Bottom Drives are connected via cable to the PCIe3 card on my server. I have attached pictures for your viewing. I am not too familiar with Oracle so assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank You and I look forward to a response.
