Extracting list of installed packages via SQL query

Hi there,

I have an Oracle 11g R2 DBMS running on a remote server which I want to extract the list of all patches installed on. For some reasons, I can't execute shell scripts on the the server's OS (neither physically nor via SSH) ; so solutions such as "opatch lsinventory" or "opatch lspatches" are not applicable. I also executed the query "SELECT * FROM sys.registry$history" but the table is empty even after I installed some patches on the DBMS. Is there any other solution to extract the list of patches via an SQL query?
