Can I use a remote copy to replace the shared pool LUN in OVM

in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question

I currently have 2 compute nodes in an OVM cluster. OVM3.4.6. I need to migrate the shared PoolFs from one PoolFS LUN to another PoolFS LUN. I see there is a manual way provided by Oracle in Doc 2448397.1 section "Migrate only the poolfs".

Is it possible to use a remote copy function, in my case IBM V70000 remote copy" and sync the data from one LUN to another LUN, shutdown the cluster, then disconnect the original LUN and then point to the new LUN and bring the cluster back up.
