SQLite Database file created without .db file extension?

edited Jun 10, 2021 10:28PM in Primavera (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

We have one user that when he creates a new SQLite P6 PPM database, it is created without a .db file extension, seemingly.

He is able to access it through P6, but when shared with other users they cannot - without someone manually adding the file extension.

I suspect this is a windows rather than P6 'thing', but has anyone got any suggestions as to what is happening here? I assume a database file is being created, otherwise it wouldn't open in P6.

User is on v18.8.17 and has always used it for connection to EPPM, rather than standalone.

Any thoughts welcomed.
