What will an application upgrade (instead of platform only) do to a customized Demantra Hierachy?

We are upgrading from 12.2.5 to 12.2.10. We have a customized Demantra Hierarchy and we used RTS&OP seeded integration with ASCP. We selected platform only during our development environment upgrade. The integration is failing due to missing fields in the Plan Data Integration interface.

What will happen to our hierarchy if we go back and redo the upgrade with the application and platform upgrade option? What could we lose?

What about other areas in our environment like series, worksheets, integration interfaces?
