Analyzers looking for 'bash' - Not a past requirement

I am on AIX and when I run the analyzers and am unable to do so since there appears to now be a requirement for 'bash'.

1) Is the correct?

If so ...1b) Can you point me to the link that says this is required?

Otherwise - Can you fix?
