Load Journal Entries into JDE A7.3 programmatically

Hi

I am working with a client who has various JDE versions, including an extremely old 7.3. We are looking to post Journal Entries into the system programmatically. The entries will be entered in another web based application.

For e.g. Oracle Cloud we would use one of the REST APIs to post the entries, or for EBS we would use the GL_JE packages. Is there some sort of equivalent for this version of JDE? What are the options?
