Preparing for disaster recovery on bare-metal ODA x8-2s

In preparing for disaster recovery on our bare-metal ODA (x8-2s) I question whether I have all of the files needed outside of the ODA to be able to restore our databases after a re-image of the appliance.

After searching through the Oracle community I find the most detailed explanation for restoring a database after a re-image is “restore the database using RMAN”. I’d like to poke a little deeper into this part of the recovery using the recommended ODA method for simple and efficient recovery or restore of the databases.

Here is our scenario:

1.      We are on the bare-metal version 19.10 of the ODA x8-2s software.
