Effective date of a budget journal

Hi,

I created a budget journal from webADI and upload it for the month of Jun-21.

I created the budget journal on 5th June 2021.

When I query the budget journal in journals window and review it, its effective date is defaulted as 01-June-2021, even though I created it on 5th June 2021. I tried to change the date in effective date field. But it is freeze. Can't change the date also.

What is the reason for it?

Can we change the effective date in budget journal?
