Can I create a customized RMA with negative tax?

Good day!

Can I create an RMA transaction type which will be including negative tax?

We have a business requirement where in we have to remove the Invoice Reference during RMA creation in order to not automatically offset the original invoice amount. Unfortunately, we have sales order types that have negative tax setups and it is not being included during RMA creation since the Invoice Reference was deleted.
