Connecting to multiple external companies through the same sip-interface?

I'm looking for a best practice document explaining how to configure the external/access interface so that multiple trunks can be set up, all using the same sip-interface IP and port.

For example, MSFT Teams and other vendors will use the same signalling IP and port, but we need to apply different manipulation rules for each external vendor.

Is it good practice to use a single network interface and sip interface, with those being generic enough that the remaining config is all done in the realm and session-agent elements?

I'm sure this is a basic question for many out there, so I hope you can point me in the right direction.
