Oracle forms 11g stopped working after java update to 1.8.0_291-b10

Hello,

Recently I had a java update on my machine that was pushed from the admin team. Some how the java update stopped the application from running. This application is Oracle forms 11g application. The java update that was pushed to my machine is java version 1.8.0_291-b10. I started playing with the java security settings under the advanced tab selecting TLS 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2 but nothing was able to run the java applet. Any help would be appreciated to solve this issue. The IE browser I'm using is version IE 11.1139. Thanks in advance.
