Changing employee's Payroll after a promotion.

Hello,

I'm trying to get some advice on the best procedure to follow when an employee changes payrolls. Our hourly union employees are paid weekly and our salaried employees are paid monthly.

We frequently promote from within. In the past, we would create a second assignment record and end the hourly assignment after the last hourly pay check processed. Now our HR Department is receiving errors when they use this process now.

I'm interested in seeing how other people handle this in Oracle EBS HR.
