Is 2FA available on Oracle 12c standalone databases?

We are running Oracle Database 12.2.0.1.0 as a stand-alone database, (not pluggable) with Jan 21 Oracle patch applied. The host OS is AIX 7.1 that has also been recently patched. Is there a way to implement two factor authentication (2FA), at the database level? Does Oracle Identity Cloud Service work with this version of Oracle Database?
