PPSFT 9.2 EX : Different mileage rates for different BUs. business unit

We have a requirement where there needs to be 2 different mileage rates based on business units. Most of the BUs will continue using the standard rate except for 2 or 3 who needs to use a higher mileage rate.

I believe there is an option to set varied rates based on transportation types. In this case the users will need to select the transportation type while creating ER for that rate to reflect. To do so, this transportation type will need to be added to the employee's profile as well. If nothing is added then it will not fetch anything.

Is there a different way to achieve this ?
