Commodity ASL in ASCP

Are commodity ASLs respected by ASCP? I ran a test in a vision instance and i don't see the commodity ASL information there. I can see the sourcing rule, but no details in the Supplier Capacity form. I tried to search on MOS, but didn't find any notes on this. It looks like only item-ASLs are respected.

I was planning to setup commodity ASLs to have common Min.Order Qty order modifier for all items grouped by the commodity or item category and avoid creating one ASL per item. I was hoping if this works, then all items grouped under the specific category, the min-order qty modifier will apply. I guess that's not possible.
