Quick question:

R12.2.9

Manufacturing Mobile apps

Requirement: Change an LOV to Text field.

  1. Move and Complete 

completing an assembly with lot number.

Entered job number, assembly , uom , sub-inv etc are populated.

Entered Qty.

Since assembly is lot controlled , lot number field displayed.

However it has search ( lov ) attached to it and validating against it.

We would like to a manual entry with a new lot number and no validation to this field.

Basically make it free text field ( i.e disable lov ).

How can we achieve this requirement. personalization?
