Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. How Do we know which algorithm used during AFPASSWD

Hi

As per Note 457166.1. we have implemented SHA 256 password hashing algorithm.

How do we know that which algorithm implemented by looking to records in FND_USER?

Does it store in $CONTEXTFILE or anywhere else, where we can prove that we have implemented SHA 256, or SHA 512. etc?
