cMRO Finite Life Items

in Complex Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul - EBS (MOSC) 1 comment

Hi All,

We recently have a requirement to manage items in cMRO that have a finite life requirement. An example of this is we have an item which has a shelf life of 5 years and a 1 year installed life and that the life for this item will not exceed 5 years.

This has caused issues as to how this type of item should be configured, as we have been normally creating these items as an installed based controlled item, however once this has been done you cannot put a shelf life on the item as this can only be done for lot controlled items.
