Recompile Pro*C programs after installing new Oracle security patch or DBRU

Hello,

our customer wants to know if it is necessary to recompile our Pro*c programs after installing a new security patch or DBRU.

In my opinion it is not necessary but our customer wants a detailled answer with the appropriate reason.

The database version is Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition 19.10.0.0.0 on Linux x86-64 and the database and our software are running on a linux server (SLES 12 SP5).
