BIP report schedule Delivery working abruptly

Hi

We are using BIP 11g. We need to schedule BIP reports to project iHUB. But the report scheduling sometime works using FTP option and sometimes using WebDAV option and sometimes even fails with error "Error 412--Precondition Failed " when set with same target directory , same report (with same or different parameters) and same other inputs.

I have created the connection to same server in both WebDAV and FTP in Administration to test.

Could you please help understanding on why it behaves so inconsistently?
