This is perl, v5.8.8 built for IA64.ARCHREV_0-thread-multi

ERROR: Can't connect to Oracle database: ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol (DBD ERROR: OCISessionBegin)

Should the perl version be upgraded? What version should be installed on HPUX B11.31
