Parts Availability - Highlighting on Quantity on Hand

Hi,

Pls advise on following queries which relates to standard JDE functionality (tested on standard JDE applications)Attached is a screenprint for reference.

Query 1: When does the JDE highlight the quantity on hold with a white background on Parts availability screen. (Navigation from Demand and Inquiry screen F9 to Parts availability screen). Seems it's not highlighting sometimes even if quantity is on hold.

Query 2 : Why parts availability screen doesn’t deduct quantity on hold from on hand Qty like demand and supply Inquiry screen. This creates confusion for material planners.
