JDE Batch Approval (amendment of G batches prior to approval/posting)

Hi,

I have searched through the Knowledgebase etc but cannot find any mention of this specific point, so am hoping for some help.


We have GL Batch Security enabled in JDE EnterpriseOne (9.2) so that any G batches generated require manager approval prior to posting. It has recently been discovered by our auditors that the given approver of another user's batch is able to amend that batch before they then approve/post it (i.e. is able to approve their own amendments). For example:

Approved By User: MANAGER

Secured User: USER1

JE journal / G Batch input by USER1 which then requires MANAGER to approve/post it. MANAGER is able to amend the journal batch, then approve & post it.
