differences between mkstore and orapki (OWM) in 12c and onward

mkstore and orapki/OWM can create wallets to store credentials. They both create cwallet.sso, ewallet.p12 as well. OWM is an interactive tool where orapki is a command line of it.

could someone summarize the major usage cases to distinguish them.

If we create a wallet with mkstore, can we open it with orapki, or vice verse.
