What are the issue of not installing GIMR in 19c RAC?

Hi,


I am installing oracle 19c RAC (Standalone cluster) for our core application. Since GIMR is optional, I would like to skip it to avoid additional resource consumption by GIMR.

  1. What are the possible issue if I do not install GIMR?
  2. Do OEM Cloud Control have the same feature which we can get from GIMR?

Oracle Grid and Database Version: 19.9.0.0.0

OS Version: AIX 7.2 (Power System)
