HFM error when trying to "calculate" in WDEF

We are running HFM 11.1.2.4.209

Since some time (we think it happened when updating to .209, however we are not sure) non-admin users receive an error when trying to calculate/force calculate in a WDEF (several periods in the WDEF, also previous year): EPMHFM-1659: You do not have the proper access rights to perform this task.

We are wondering why this comes up suddenly. This was not a problem before.

Any ideas on that issue?
