XMLP W-2 Implementation for 2021

We are using PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, Payroll for North America. Since Oracle announced that they will no longer support non-XMLP W-2 Forms for 2021, we are in the process of reviewing our current process to see what we need to do for the end of the year. What is best practice in terms of previous years? Are you running the XMLP process to create the PDFs for previous W-2 years so they will be posted in Self Service?
